Hello Everyone !
I started my second week
with a consecutive three days leave....that's because I had to appear
for the defending of my thesis work. It was a great feeling going
back to college, especially after being placed. I would like to share
my research work in brief .
The title of my research
Paper/Thesis is :
" Demand
Response of smart grid using dynamic pricing"
Most of the time
we hardly care about switching the light or fan off while it's not in
use. Due to which, it leads to a great amount of electricity wastage.
This wastage in turn imbalance the demand response curve of the
electricity. The reason we do that might be the flat tariff for
electricity. If the dynamic pricing will be applied, then consumers
might be sincere about turning off the unused electronic devices as
the price may raised during that time. Our new dynamic pricing scheme
recommends the consumers to use their non-critical electronic devices
(e.g.,like dish washer, washing machines, iron...etc.) during the
time when the price is lowest. Also, as per our scheme, once the
price will be decided (by the smart grid, depending upon the demand
and supply) it will remain same for the next two hours. So by
scheduling devices smartly we can save some electricity which in
turn, will balance the demand supply curve and hence the power cut
can be reduced. Further, I communicated my paper in IEEE
international conference 2016 and I am glad that it has been accepted
as well.
I joined the office on
Friday, and my team was decided too. I am now a part of Android
Development Team. It's a great opportunity for me to excel in this
field. Currently, I am learning the prerequisite of Android
which starts with the concepts of "Array list",
"Hash-map", "Vector", "Stack"
and "Dictionary". All these
mentioned terminologies are the part of java collections. Once I'll
learn all this , will write a blog upon it to share my learnings.
